THEME

It’s a metaphor, see?

"I have built myself
from the bones
of my parents’ weaknesses.
I have built myself
from the ashes
of those ruined loves.
I am more than this."
- Michelle K., You Are More Than This.

screencapped.net

guys, would you please do me a favor and reblog this if you use screencaps from screencapped.net? they are a wonderful site that is essentially screencap heaven, but they’ve been receiving a lot of hate and rude comments as of lately which resulted in the site being put on a hiatus. this is in no way to push them to change that, but this is simply to show them that people do love and appreciate that site very much. i am an avid user of it myself and i would hate to see it go. it only takes a minute to reblog and they really seem to need the reminder of how much they are loved. bonus points if you actually message hq-screencaps, because a few kind words can go a long way. even if they don’t come back, they deserve to know how helpful they were to anyone who used the site :)

i lent my friend my car and someone rear-ended her when she was getting off the interstate AND THERE IS A CRACK IN MY DAMN FENDER

oh no i’ve flatlined

It was one of those rare occasions when the true story is even more strange and exciting than the wild rumours.

How the show should have ended.

When Marie-Antoinette is going through her shoes while preparing for a big party you see a pair of blue Converse All Star 1923 Chuck Taylor basketball shoes for about one and a half seconds. While these shoes were definitely not in existence at the time of Marie-Antoinette, their inclusion in the film was intentional, to portray Marie-Antoinette as a typical teenage girl despite the time she lived in.
